FRom Wikipedia:
INXS (pronounced "in excess", In-XS) are an Australian rock band, formed as The Farriss Brothers in 1977 in Sydney, New South Wales. Mainstays are Garry Gary Beers on bass guitar, Andrew Farriss on guitar and keyboards, Jon Farriss on drums, Tim Farriss on lead guitar and Kirk Pengilly on guitar and saxophone. For 20 years, INXS were fronted by Michael Hutchence on lead vocals, whose "sultry good looks" and magnetic stage presence made him the focal point of the band.Initially known for their New Wave/ska/pop style, they later developed a harder pub rock style, including funk and dance elements.
In the early 1980s, INXS first charted in their native Australia with their debut self-titled album, but later garnered moderate success elsewhere with Shabooh Shoobah and a single, "The One Thing". Though The Swing brought more success from around the world, its single "Original Sin" was even greater commercially, becoming their first number-one single. They would later achieve international success with a series of hit recordings through later in the 1980s and the 1990s, including the albums Listen Like Thieves, Kick, and X; and the singles "What You Need", "Need You Tonight", "Devil Inside", "New Sensation", and "Suicide Blonde".
In the 1990s, INXS brought a new audience following Hutchence's romance with pop singer Kylie Minogue, and achieved greater acclaim in the UK. However, starting with Welcome to Wherever You Are, in 1992, they achieved less success in the United States. A depressed Hutchence committed suicide by hanging in 1997 and INXS did not perform publicly for a year. They made appearances with several guest singers including Jimmy Barnes, Terence Trent D'Arby, and Jon Stevens; Stevens formally joined the band for a tour and recording session in 2002. In 2005, members of INXS participated in a reality television series, broadcast worldwide, culminating in the selection of their new lead singer, Canadian J.D. Fortune, and the release of "Pretty Vegas" and "Afterglow" as singles, and its album Switch. In late 2010, they recorded and released Original Sin, a tribute album, featuring guest artists such as Kavyen Temperley (of Eskimo Joe) and Ben Harper. In September 2011 the band announced that Northern Irish singer-songwriter Ciaran Gribbin had replaced Fortune as their lead vocalist ahead of a planned tour of South America, Australia & Europe later in the year.
INXS has won six Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) awards including three for 'Best Group' in 1987, 1989 and 1992, and was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2001. To date INXS have sold more than 30 million records.

[*] [*] Welcome to Wherever You Are is the eighth album by the Australian rock music group INXS, which was released on 3 August 1992. With grunge music and alternative music breaking into the mainstream, INXS tried to establish a new direction for itself, à la U2 and Achtung Baby, incorporating sitars, a 60-piece orchestra, and a much more "raw" sound to their music. In its four star review of the album, Q called it "...a far more engaging and heartfelt collection than anything the group has put out in recent memory... It rocks," and listed it as one of the 50 Best Albums of 1992.
Ultimately, however, with lack of promotion by their label and the band not touring for the album (wanting a break), the record failed to match the success of INXS's two previous albums, Kick and X. However, it still reached number-one in the UK, but the band's popularity soon waned. While the single "Baby Don't Cry" was a Top 20 hit in the UK, the album's biggest American hit was "Not Enough Time", which reached No. 2 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart, and stayed there for five consecutive weeks. [b]This is an updated Inxs Discography torrent. Most of these are my rips, the one’s that are not is Switch (2005), Original Sin (2010), All Juiced up (1994), Dekadance (1983) and Max Q – Way of the World Single (1989) so thank you to the original uploaders. Live Baby Live ripped using CDex due to EAC having issues with the disc. Inxs – Underneath The Colours taken from the 2 CD Remastered Compilation “Stay Young The Deluxe Years”. This is the only studio album to be remastered within this torrent. Audiochecker folder included for rips that are not mine but as before with some of my other torrents some albums report Errors and/or MPEG rips but rest assured these are authentic flacs. Audiochecker is prone to false positives and there are some with this particular torrent. If anybody has anymore Inxs, especially some more of the rare stuff (I'm thinking of the other Dekadance EP), please do make available in Lossless!

INXS - Kick
Throughout the early 1980s, INXS kept threatening to go big league, and with 1987's Kick they broke wide open, sENDing a sharp quartet of singles--"New Sensation," "Devil Inside," "Need You Tonight," and the shimmering ballad "Never Tear Us Apart"--right to the charts. The rest of Kick, especially the strutting "Guns in the Sky" and the groovy "Wild Life," is of similar quality; all of it is marked by the band's Stones-y guitars and angular, funk-tinged rhythms. Vocalist Michael Hutchence's MTV good looks and Aretha-meets-Aerosmith swagger completed the musical equation for both the girls and the boys. One of the decade's great live bands, too. --Michael Ruby

A little hidden gem, this recording. Never lauded as much as other INXS releases, this one really grows on your ears so to speak, from the lush Middle Eastern melody on the opening piece to the forever lovely Beautiful Girl. Inxs explores some new avenues, using arrangements and instruments that were a wide variation from anything the band had tried before, and the result is one heck of a good collection.
